Alma is a software workshop for modeling and analyzing. It reads several sources (languages, models, etc.), helps you design for object-oriented modeling (definition of classes, relations, patterns, etc.), modifies the structure and the code, and outputs new sources, documentation, diagrams, etc. It is designed for object-oriented modeling (definition of classes and relations) and for migrating code in older languages. It meets two needs, offering a simplified software modeling workshop for small projects and making it easier to do rewrites, ports, and encapsulation of non-OO code.

DEPS (formerly known as graph-includes) is a set of tools and libraries which allows users to extract dependency information from arbitrary material (e.g. program source files), apply various transformations to this graph, and draw it. It is typically used as helper tool for a refactoring effort, to create a graph of dependencies between groups of source files. Readability and usability of the dependency graphs are currently improved by customizable grouping of several source files into a single node, coloring of nodes belonging to given groups, and transitive reduction of the graph.
Daikon is an implementation of dynamic detection of likely invariants. An invariant is a property (such as "x=2*y+5" or "this.next.prev = this" or "myarray is sorted by <") that holds at a certain point or points in a program. Invariants are often seen in assert statements, documentation, and formal specifications. Invariants can be useful in program understanding and a host of other applications. Daikon runs a program, observes the values that the program computes, and then reports properties that were true over the observed executions. It can detect properties in Java, C, C++, Perl, and IOA programs, in spreadsheet files, and in other data sources.

Autodia is a command line Perl application that generates UML class diagrams from source code, SQL, and database connections. It supports multiple programming languages including SQL, and can output images (using GraphViz/VCG/SpringGraph), Dia XML and Umbrello XML, or custom formats using templates.
