BitRock InstallBuilder allows you to create easy-to-use multiplatform installers for Linux (x86/PPC/s390/x86_64/Itanium), Windows, Mac OS X, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, Solaris (x86/Sparc), IRIX, AIX, and HP-UX applications. The generated application installers have a native look-and-feel and no external dependencies, and can be run in GUI, text, and unattended modes. In addition to self-contained installers, the installation tool is also able to generate standalone RPM packages.
Source-highlight-qt is a library for performing syntax highlighting in Qt documents by relying on the GNU Source-Highlight library. It provides an implementation of the Qt abstract class QSyntaxHighlighter class, and it deals both with Qt3 and Qt4, although you will need to build a separate version of the library for the two different Qt framework versions. The Qt3 version has fewer features and it is there only for old Qt applications. Furthermore, the QSyntaxHighlighter class in Qt3 has some design problems which make it quite inefficient to use.
Barcodes for Python is a library that can create EAN-13, Code-128A, Code128-B, Code128-C, and Gs1 barcodes. It also includes a CLI tool that can generate barcode image files and GTK+ and Qt GUI examples with printing support. The barcodes is produces have been verified using a cheap Deltaco (KB Wedge B519153) CCD handheld barcode scanner.
