openSUSE Medical is a distribution of openSUSE made especially to address the needs of doctors. It is based on openSUSE 11.3. It is distributed in the form of ISO image files and VirtualBox/VMWare images. It includes carefully selected software for doctors' practices, clinical environments, and medical students. The software selection encompasses everything required to make computers productive for either home or medical use. This distribution includes a LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP) stack that is needed for developing or hosting PHP-based Web sites and all other major development tools. The aim of this distribution is to provide complete resources for medical doctors, clinics, and medical students as well as IT admins running labs at educational institutes.
OSG composer was designed to unleash the potential of OSG developers and users. It facilitates the creation of simple to complex 3D scenes, which combine geometries from different sources. It lets you add models from different sources, place them visually using the draggers, use advanced Snap tools, add 3D text to your scene, add texture coordinates to the models, duplicate and create instances of geometries in the scene, automatically pack your scenes with all its textures in a zip file so you can share it with other users, and fix problematic models and bring them back to life.
AutoWallpaper is a cross-platform desktop wallpaper changing utility. It automatically (or manually) changes the desktop wallpaper at a specified time interval set by the user. It runs in the background with a system tray icon that is visible when the application is running. It is written in Visual C# .NET 2008 (Windows versions) and Qt 4.4.3/4.5.0 (Linux/others).
SynScope is an offline visualization and alignment tool for time-varying signals acquired from multiple sources that may differ in offset and/or sample rate. SynScope allows you to define reference points that correspond to identical events between source pairs. It then estimates the offset and resample rate to link these sources. It maps sample time from one source to the other via a link equation. Signal alignment can be inspected with synchronous visualization or resampling. With synchronous visualization, linked signals scroll together according to the link relation. With resampling, linked signals are resampled to the highest sample rate and offset-compensated.
DeltaQt is a cross-platform library of C++ classes and functions for parsing of DELTA (DEscription Language for TAxonomy) files, and is part of the Free DELTA initiative. Support for all major data-related DELTA directives is planned. Typesetting directives are beyond the scope of the project, and support for them is not planned. Support for RTF formatting within comments, notes, descriptions, etc. is planned. All data defined by supported DELTA directives (including comments and annotations) will be parsed into memory. Qt (core) is used extensively.
