Veusz is a scientific plotting package, designed to create publication-ready Postscript, PDF, or SVG output. It features an easy to use graphical interface as well as a command line interface and can be scripted or embedded in Python scripts. Graphs are constructed in a modular fashion from separate components. Datasets can be interactively modified or created from within the program.
KardsGT is a card game suite for those who love playing card games and are tired of switching to other OSes to get their fix or playing the Internet version. All of the computer-based players have their own sense of style of play, offering a great challenge. You can even customize your own deck of cards and even the image of yourself in game. Currently you can play Crazy Eights, Cribbage, Euchre, Hearts, Old Maid, Spades, and War.
Qassir is a graphical frontend to manage encrypted folders. At the moment, it only supports mounting and unmounting folders encrypted with EncFS. Future releases will provide access to all of EncFS's functionality, i.e. creation of encrypted folders, changing the password for a folder, etc.
AutoWallpaper is a cross-platform desktop wallpaper changing utility. It automatically (or manually) changes the desktop wallpaper at a specified time interval set by the user. It runs in the background with a system tray icon that is visible when the application is running. It is written in Visual C# .NET 2008 (Windows versions) and Qt 4.4.3/4.5.0 (Linux/others).
YAGF is a graphical frontend for the cuneiform and tesseract OCR tools. It lets you open already scanned image files or obtain new images via XSane (scanning results are automatically passed to YAGF). Once you have a scanned image you can prepare it for recognition, select particular image areas for recognition, set the recognition language and so on. Recognized text is displayed in an editor window where it can be spell-checked, corrected, saved to disk, or copied to clipboard. YAGF also provides some facilities for a multi-page recognition.
