blogstrap.py is a simple, no frills blog content management system powered by Twitter's Bootstrap and web.py. It features most things you would come to expect from a simple blogging platform. You can browse posts by category or subcategory, see recent posts, and mark favorites. You can perform basic searches. It includes an About page. A basic tag system is implemented (popular tags are counted and shown). A simple comment system is available. A robust administrative interface is included where you can create and edit posts. You can upload images and include them on a Credits page, where you can properly attribute the original author. Comments can be set to on, off, or manual approval (moderated). Security has been a top priority since the beginning. Blogstrap.py has low resource usage and runs quickly on top of Lighttpd.
GFXprim is a modular 2D bitmap graphics library. The library is organized into modules, each of which implements different functionality. The library core is the glue that holds everything together by implementing pixel manipulations, conversions, and blits. Loaders implements an interface to load and save images from/to various image formats. All commonly used formats are supported (JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, TIFF, PNM, etc.). Filters implements bitmap filters such as resize, convolutions, point filters (brightness, contrast, etc.), rotations, edge sharpening, ditherings, median, etc. Backends can create X11 window(s), draw on the Linux framebuffer, handle input events, timers and more. Gfx implements basic graphics primitives such as lines, circles, polygons, etc. Text module implements text drawing with both compiled-in fonts and basic support for FreeType rendering. Grabbers can get frames from V4L2 devices, such as Web cameras. All of this comes with Python bindings and comprehensive documentation.
The EESST package implements a common format for Email Exchange of Secondary School Transcripts. MIME and OpenPGP email standards are applied to enable secure communication of academic transcripts directly from each student to his or her chosen recipients without intervention or monitoring by any third-parties. Because transcripts are digitally signed by the originating school official, transcript recipients can independently verify that transcripts received directly from students have not been altered in transit.
