RotNN.py is a python module that allows the user to do rotational encryption and de-encryption to obfuscate text. The default functionality is the same as rot13, however you can rotate the text any amount you wish: 15, 21, 4... (Hence the NN.) RotNN also includes two functions, srotate and wrotate, which operate on the entire (UNIX, at least) printable character set. They utilize rotation also, only on more than just A-Z and a-z.
pyHTTPConn is a Python module that builds upon httplib with the goal of being wrapped up in a unit test framework to allow the testing of Web applications. However, it functions just fine outside of a unit test framework and allows developers to quickly write scripts that can, for instance, login to a Web site and gather interesting information.

Py_ContigViewer is a contig viewer, a stand alone cross-platform desktop application that uses CAP3 alignments to graphically display and validate candidate SNPs and InDels. It also simplifies PCR oligo design in an interactive mode. The extended mode provides the display of BLAST hits of annotated sequences with intron positions for the selected contig. pyFlashCards is a wxPython-based application for creating and studying flash cards. Its main features are the Leitner algorithm for repeating cards, HTML tags, images, and Unicode characters inside cards. These features allow you to study any language, use special characters, and highlight important concepts with colors and different font effects. The Leitner algorithm maximizes long term memory retention.
