TAMOGEN is designed either to create a mosaic of one image out of another or to create a mosaic of one image out of itself. Instead of selecting images from a pool on a best-fit basis, the generator utilizes one user-identified image to create a mosaic of another user-identified image by altering the tone of the component image. TAMOGEN will create color or black-and-white mosaics of arbitrary size.

SnakeBite is designed for those who use libre audio formats like Vorbis and FLAC, but also need their music in the MP3 format. It duplicates an entire folder tree of audio files, but converted to MP3. The original files are not altered. Unnecessary work is avoided whenever possible.

It allows you to calculate the distance and bearings between points, mangle xearth/xplanet data files, and work with online UK trigpoint databases, NOAA's weather station database, and other such location databases.

The content can be edited both in command line programs (such as vi) and via a Web-based interface. Modules may be reinstantiated. Files may be uploaded via standard methods (such as sftp, scp, and rsync). All programming languages may be used with ccollaborate.
