Gwyddion is a modular SPM (Scanning Probe Microsope) data visualization and analysis tool. It can be used for all most frequently used data processing operations including: leveling, false color plotting, shading, filtering, denoising, data editing, integral transforms, grain analysis, profile extraction, fractal analysis, and many more. The program is primarily focused on SPM data analysis (e.g. data obtained from AFM, STM, NSOM, and similar microscopes). However, it can also be used for analyzing SEM (scaning electron microscopy) data or any other 2D data.
dFlex is a meta-directory application: a set of applications to be used for LDAP directory replication and directory data mapping and translation. It is designed as a simple and flexible framework to provide heterogenous directory data synchronization. It was originally written for a specific directory environment, and preconfigured for common tasks of replication in that environment. However, it can be easily configured to match replication, synchronization, and data mapping needs of a wide variety of directory systems and configurations.
SDB (show database) is a utility to manage a collection of tradeable live shows. It features a browseable list of shows, and the ability to compile special interest lists and import or export from/to various formats, including plain text, CSV, HTML, and PDF. XML files are used to store all data. Future goals include the implementation of some BitTorrent features, especially the creation of torrent files, and some network features to share information about a recorded show.
OpenVPS is a set of software built on top of the Linux VServer aimed specifically at Web Hosting. It is not another set of kernel patches, but a set of scripts to create virtual servers, collect resource utilization information, and provide an interface to the customer as well as the administrator.
fwknop implements an authorization scheme called Single Packet Authorization that requires only a single encrypted packet to communicate various pieces of information, including desired access through an iptables, ipfw, or pf firewall policy and/or specific commands to execute on the target system. The main application of this program is to protect services such as SSH with an additional layer of security in order to make the exploitation of vulnerabilities much more difficult. The authorization server works by passively monitoring authorization packets via libpcap. Also supported is a robust port knocking implementation based around iptables log messages.
