4Suite is a Python-based toolkit for XML and RDF application development. It features a library of integrated tools for XML processing, implementing open technologies such as DOM, RDF, XSLT, XInclude, XPointer, XLink, XPath, XUpdate, RELAX NG, and XML/SGML Catalogs. Layered upon this is an XML and RDF data repository and server, which supports multiple methods of data access, query, indexing, transformation, rich linking, and rule processing, and provides the data infrastructure of a full database system, including transactions, concurrency, access control, and management tools. It also supports HTTP, RPC, SOAP, and FTP, plus APIs in Python and XSLT.
Apache Toolbox provides a means to easily compile Apache (IPv4/6) SSL, PHP(v3/v4), MySQL, Jakarta, a large number of modules (61 3rd party modules and 36 default Apache modules, static or as DSOs), and GD libraries with PNG+JPEG+Freetype2+zlib support. It is fully customizable and menu-driven. Everything is compiled from source, and wget is used to download any missing modules. It can also check for RPMs that might cause problems and create an RPM with your selections.
Boa Constructor is a cross-platform RAD GUI-building IDE. It offers visual frame creation and manipulation, an object inspector, a debugger, integrated help, and many views on the source, including inheritance hierarchies, object methods and properties, and HTML generated from documentation strings. It is written in Python and uses the wxPython toolkit which wraps wxWindows.
The Cacheability Engine will check a URL you feed it for several things that will affect a Web cache, including web server clock skew, expires and Cache-Control headers, Last-Modified date presence, validation of LM date, Content-Length presence and more. It makes it easy to see how a cache will treat your content. There are also public engines running, so you don't have to install the software to use it for Internet-available sites.
CDDB.py provides an easy way for Python programs to fetch track and disc information on audio CDs. This information is acquired from CDDB, a very large online database of track listings and other information on audio CDs. Included is a C extension module to enable Python to read track listings from audio CDs under Linux, Solaris, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, and Win32. The interface to this extension module is portable and is intended to be ported to other OSes easily.
