Template Data Interface (TDI, /ʹtedɪ/) is a markup templating system written in Python with (optional but recommended) speedup code written in C. Unlike most templating systems, TDI does not invent its own language to provide functionality. Instead, you simply mark the nodes you want to manipulate within the template document. The template is parsed, and the marked nodes are presented to your Python code, where they can be modified in any way you want.
txtorcon is a Twisted-based asynchronous Tor control protocol implementation. Twisted is an event-driven networking engine written in Python, and Tor is an onion-routing network designed to improve people’s privacy and security on the Internet. It includes unit-tests with 96%+ coverage, multiple examples, and documentation. There are abstractions to track Tor configuration and state (circuits, streams), launch private instances, support Hidden Service, and more.
Flac-utils is a toolkit for managing FLAC files. Its primary usage is syncing metadata between sets of FLAC files. Flac-utils also provides a Python module called flac_compare that can be used separately. The utilitiy consist of three tools: flac-sync, which syncs a file tree of FLAC comments for files with the same audio-part; flac-diff, which compares two FLAC files' metadata information and shows the differences; and flac-add-picture, which adds album cover art to the files using Amazon.
gcp (Goffi's CoPier) is a command line file copying tool, loosely inspired by cp, but with high level functionality like a progress indicator, the ability to continue copying multiple files even when there is a problem with one of them, and the use of a journal to track successful copying. File names can be fixed to ensure compatibility with the target filesystem. If you launch a copy operation when another is already running, the files are added to the first queue to avoid hard drive thrashing. You can keep track of files you have copied, and re-copy them later. gcp is approximately option-compatible with cp.
