The Biochemical ALgorithms Library (BALL) is a framework for rapid application development in molecular modeling and structural bioinformatics. BALL provides an extensive set of data structures as well as classes for molecular mechanics, advanced solvation methods, comparison and analysis of protein structures, file import/export, NMR shift prediction, and visualization. Its extensibility results from an object-oriented and generic programming approach.

BOTEC is a simple but useful calculator that assists with astrophysical, orbital mechanics, and space navigation calculations. It is a "back-of-the-envelope calculator" rather than an industrial-strength calculator, although this may change in the future. It is primarily intended for people familiar with physics and Python, and as such is unlikely to be useful to the average end user. It includes solar system data, and all values are strictly in SI units.

Flightdeck-UI is a project that utilizes the ideas in the design of aircraft controls and instruments for creating general purpose user interfaces. The project includes Flightdeck-UI Online (a Web-based monitoring system that works entirely through the browser), the Multi-Variable Monitor (MVM) application, and a Tkinter widget library. Flightdeck-UI Online is installed on a Web server. The MVM application provides a graphical editor with theme support for quickly creating Flightdeck-UI control panels. It is possible but not necessary to write code in order to use MVM.

Hasard is a pseudo-random number generator (PRNG) library. It includes multiple engines (algorithms): Park-Miller, Mersenne Twister, Linux device (/dev/urandom or /dev/random), and more. It has a simple but powerful API. For example, a PRNG seed can be generated using strong entropy (using a hardware random number generator like /dev/random on Linux). The library is written in C, and a Python binding is available. The word "hasard" is the French word for "randomness" or "chance".
