Gweled is a GNOME version of a popular game (for PalmOS, Windows, and Java) called "Bejeweled" or "Diamond Mine". The aim of the game is to make an alignment of 3 or more gems, either vertically or horizontally, by swapping adjacent gems. The game ends when there are no possible moves left.
WUMPUS is a bit of retrocomputing nostalgia. It is an exact clone, even down to the godawful user interface, of an ancient classic game. This version fixes two minor bugs in an earlier 1992 USENET posting of the source. This package also includes superhack, which is a structurally similar game with a different premise.
Twin Distress is a game in which the object is to remove all of the blocks from the screen before the time runs out. Two blocks are removed at a time, and must be of the same color. After completing a level, you will be rewarded with a bonus point for every tick left on the clock. For each level thereafter, the time to complete the the level will be shorter.
