The Teeny Weeny Microgame Engine is a specification for the portable play of board- style games in a wide variety of computing environments. As proof-of-concept, teeny-cpp implements the Teeny LRFC (Lesser RFC) and many extended features with a shell-like console interface and a curses-based UI. Despite their simple appearances, they are very extensible via C++ and basic game script code using the commands defined in the LRFC. It is intended for hard-core hobby board gamers or war gamers.
wmJupiter is a Window Maker applet which features the planet Jupiter. It allows you to keep track of the Great Red Spot and the current distance in astronomical units (AE). The four Gallileo moons (Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Calisto) are also displayed when they are near the planet.
TeachToPod is a set of shell scripts for ripping DVDs from The Teaching Company to produce either video files (m4v) or audio files (mp3) for playback on an iPod. Metadata such as lecture titles are automatically scraped from the Web and added to the output files. Operation of the scripts is almost automatic, and from the operator's viewpoint requires merely physical insertion and removal of the DVDs. Presently, the scripts are optimized for iPod Classic and have only been tested on Ubuntu 10.10.
livarot is a set of C++ classes (and a partial conversion to C) to compute voronoi diagrams of polygons, do usual operations on polygons (boolean operations, offsets), and create, fill or stroke paths (polyline, bezier, cubic). Rasterization is done with anti-aliasing in 32bit argb.
French Verb Conjugation Rules establishes a concise and accurate set of computer readable French verb conjugation rules. The rules have been placed in an xbase database for easy access. The project is oriented towards language students, developers of computer assisted language learning software, and computational linguists.
