Real-Time Control Systems Library contains a mix of software found to be useful in the development of real-time control systems at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. It includes the Neutral Messaging Language (NML), which is used for simple configurable communications for both Java and C++ applications on a variety of operating systems. It also includes classes for converting between various coordinate systems (collectively called posemath), some XML parsing and generating tools, an .ini file reader, a timer interface, and more.
Gircap is a set of tools to help you use the widely unknown "capabilities" that Linux has in place of conventional Unix superuser privilege. That means you can give programs and processes only as much privilege as they need and greatly limit your security exposure due to system bugs. A Linux kernel patch fixes some basically broken aspects of capabilities. setcap and getcap let you set and show capabilities of a running process. capexec runs a program with certain capabilities, UID, GID, and supplemental GIDs. It can be used to have init start a daemon with only a subset of init's privileges. binfmt_capx is an executable interpreter in the form of a loadable kernel module. It lets you do a setuid kind of thing for files, only with fine grained capabilities. This is a cheap substitute for real "file capabilities."
OBLISK (Open Binary Linux Install System Kit) aims to make any package install on any modern GNU/Linux system. OBLISK packages are sent in an appdir-like package and can be run entirely in place, but also have an installer, which makes it possible for them to be installed to /usr or any other path.
Slink-e tools is a package of programs and libraries to drive the Slink-e infrared remote control via its serial port from a Linux system. It features an interactive program to talk to the Slink-e and exercise its functions, an editor and learner for the IR code database, a readline-based command interface, a daemon that controls a Slink-e so that multiple other programs can interact with it, and Perl libraries for talking to the Slink-e at various levels. The package also contains complete documentation of the Slink-e device itself.
X3D-Edit is a graphics file editor for Extensible 3D (X3D) that enables simple error-free editing, authoring, and validation of X3D or VRML scene-graph files. Context-sensitive tooltips provide concise summaries of each VRML node and attribute. These tooltips simplify authoring and improve understanding for novice and expert users alike. It uses the X3D 3.0 tagset defined by the X3D 3.0 Document Type Definition (DTD) in combination with Sun's Java, IBM's Xeena XML editor, and editor profile configuration files.

You can even watch a number of computer players fight among themselves. Some of the games can be played with a variable number of players, and other games can be played on various board sizes. GeBoP features a unified best move engine. Because of this, additional strategic boardgames are easy to add to the application.
