Real-Time Control Systems Library contains a mix of software found to be useful in the development of real-time control systems at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. It includes the Neutral Messaging Language (NML), which is used for simple configurable communications for both Java and C++ applications on a variety of operating systems. It also includes classes for converting between various coordinate systems (collectively called posemath), some XML parsing and generating tools, an .ini file reader, a timer interface, and more.
OBLISK (Open Binary Linux Install System Kit) aims to make any package install on any modern GNU/Linux system. OBLISK packages are sent in an appdir-like package and can be run entirely in place, but also have an installer, which makes it possible for them to be installed to /usr or any other path.
sda12 is a package of software for working with the B&B Electronics 485SDA12 RS-485 analog and digital data acquisition device. It includes a command line program, an XML-RPC server program, and a C++ programming library to provide access to the module's analog inputs, digital inputs, and outputs. You can read the analog input voltages, set the digital output lines, set the module address, and do anything else the device's programming interface allows.
mi is a Linux command line utility that can identify potential deadlocks in multi-threaded applications. It can also collect statistics such as number of successful and failed mutex operations, time spent acquiring mutex locks, etc. It can also show call stacks for all mutex operations. It is able to identify the following conditions: the order of locking two mutexes in one thread is opposite to the order of locking the same mutexes in another thread; unlocking a mutex that was not locked earlier; a mutex is left locked after an application has finished; the order of unlocking mutexes does not correspond to the reverse order of locking these mutexes; and unlocking a mutex that was locked earlier in another thread.
yuxtapa is a multiplayer real-time CLI game. It looks like a roguelike, but feels like a multiplayer 1st-person shooter with a focus on team play. The idea is to take the "feel" of such team based multiplayer games as Enemy Territory into an NCurses-based game with roguelike controls. Like roguelikes, yuxtapa is lightweight but surprisingly rich under the crude surface. It features several classes from which to choose, each with a different special ability, randomly generated maps which can also be saved and reloaded, and multiple game modes or objectives.
