SquidTL allows proxy administrators to manage proxy users: define how much time users can spend on a specific Web site, block sites, limit total time users can spend on the Web daily, and watch users' activity. For example, you can limit the use of Facebook or other social networks with per-user rules or IP. It has a small memory footprint and very fast execution. Management can be done with a smart Web-based administration GUI.
KnProxy is a small PHP based Web proxy that makes use of the cURL module built into PHP. It uses limited server resources while still maintaining performance. KnProxy is aimed to be easy to use and does not inject information into Web pages. It returns the Web page as is, only changing the links to the resources to be proxied. The URL is obfuscated to prevent tracking or URL filtering. KnProxy has extended support for AJAX calls and JavaScript. This tool can be useful in places where the Internet is not as free as intended. It is also good for bypassing school or office firewalls. It is especially optimized to get past the GFW of China.
KnProxy Lambda is a branch of KnProxy that uses Java and PHP to provide users with a safe and balanced proxy service. Communications between the Java client and the PHP based server are encrypted in highly secure encryption methods. Traffic is also distributed among many servers to prevent flow monitoring. KnProxy Lambda allows users to set up a full proxy processing POST, GET, and AJAX Requests on any server offering PHP. It is also compatable with APJP servers, allowing for a wider network and an easier migration.
