StreamGate is a proxy server for MP3 streams written in Java. With StreamGate, you can define multiple streams that will be streamed to the clients in your network. The advantage is that you'll save lots of bandwidth when you have several clients that listen to the same streams. StreamGate is working "on demand" and uses no bandwidth when no clients are connected.
ShoutCastProxy is a system for saving bandwidth when multiple users in different rooms are listening to the same ShoutCast audio stream. ShoutCastProxy runs on a central server, and connects to whatever ShoutCast server that a client requests. If multiple clients request the same stream, the stream will be downloaded from the original source only once, but will still be sent to all the clients. Multiple proxies can be chained together.
The SIP Switch is a Web application which allows you to use multiple SIP accounts on the same phone. This lets you use the call plans of different VoIP companies (using SIP) with one IP phone device. It does the third party SIP registration so you can receive all your calls on the sipswitch account. On dial out, you can set prefixes to make your outgoing calls with such or such provider.
VideoCache is a squid URL rewriter plugin written in Python that traps the requests to Squid for various audio/video Web sites and caches the audio/video in the local storage on a proxy server for serving subsequent requests for the same audio/video. It caches the audio/video independently of Squid's caching system. The cached files are stored in a browsable fashion.
