Ziproxy is a high-performance forwarding (non-caching) HTTP proxy that gzips text and HTML files, and reduces the size of images by converting them to lower quality JPEGs or JPEG 2000. It is intended to increase the speed for low-speed Internet connections (mobile, dial-up, other). It's suitable for both home and professional usage. Ziproxy is fully configurable and also features transparent proxy mode, HTML/JS/CSS optimization, operation in daemon mode, a detailed access log with compression statistics, basic authentication, and more.
Siproxd is a SIP application layer proxy for SIP-based softphones hidden behind an IP masquerading (NAT) firewall. It includes an RTP data stream proxy for incoming and outgoing audio and video data. Multiple local UAs (SIP phones) can be simultaneously masqueraded. All configuration is done via one simple ASCII text file. Its main purpose is to perform NAT traversal for SIP and the RTP traffic.
SER or SIP Express Router is a very fast and flexible SIP (RFC3261) server. It can handle thousands of calls per second on low-budget hadware. A C shell-like scripting language provides full control over the server's behavior. Its modular architecture allows only required functionality to be loaded. The following modules are available: accounting, digest authentication, CPL scripts, ENUM support, instant messaging, MySQL support, PostgreSQL support, a presence agent, Radius authentication and accounting, Diameter authentication, record routing, an SMS gateway, a Jabber gateway, NAT traversal support transaction module, a registrar, and user location.
NatACL is a Linux firewall group policy controller for intranets and Internet. Using a internal DHCP server, it can force users to use a DHCP client, and you can block static IPs. It will bind an IP to a MAC address and enforce this usage. You can control groups that can see each other with intranet policies, or control who has access to the Internet. It also has an option to force users to authenticate themselves over the Web before accessing the Internet.
MailStripper Pro is a mail scanner that aims to remove spam and viruses from incoming mail. It recognises and decodes many obfuscation techniques used by spammers and uses several different mechanisms to recognise spam which are immune to Bayes poisoning, and has achieved real-world success of over 99.8%. It is MTA-independent and does not implant itself into your mail server. Instead, it functions as a proxy, allowing the MTA to reside on a different server.
LiteSpeed Web Server is a high-performance, secure, easy-to-use, and Apache interchangeable Web server. It supports HTTP/1.1, SSL, CGI, FastCGI, LSAPI, PHP, JSP, Servlets, GZIP compression, chroot, IP level throttling, connection accounting, DoS attack prevention, and instant recovery mechanisms. With its Apache compatible rewrite engine, .htaccess, and MS FrontPage support, migration is quick and easy. A Web interface is included for administration and configuration. It can be used as a content accelerator, compression proxy, or a security guard running in front of any Web and application server.
Lightweight markup languages and XML grammars for writing prose and screenplays.
