OOo Label Templates is a collection of blank label templates for Openoffice.org Writer. It includes CD, DVD, mailing, address, disk, and many other types in a5 and US letter size. Templates will work with Openoffice.org installed on Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris, Mac OS X, and Windows. Import graphics and insert text boxes to create labels. Templates can be saved as user templates for mail merge. Set up is fast, and printing labels from these templates is easy. The project entails refining the templates to make them more user friendly, developing a package of templates for Draw, and mail merge solutions for Base involving MYSQL and Crystal Reports applications.
PDF Automation Server (PAS) can receive PDF documents from multiple sources concurrently, including email, FTP servers, and local or network folders. Processes can then be defined independently for each document source to perform a number of different functions on the documents. Finally, PAS can route the original or modified document to multiple destinations, including folders, printers, email, and FTP servers. PAS supports the following PDF processing functions: printing, setting security, conversion to images, merging, flattening, and extraction of form field data, importing, exporting, and flattening of annotations, text extraction, assembling, splitting, merging, digital signatures, and stamping.
PDFreactor is a formatting processor to convert HTML and XML to PDF. It uses Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to define page layout and styles. It allows you to dynamically generate PDF documents such as invoices, delivery notes, shipping documents, or print versions of Web content on-the-fly. Vector graphics (SVG), barcodes, MathML, XSLT, and CMYK colors are supported. All common J2EE application servers are supported. Complete .NET, PHP, Perl, Python, and Ruby APIs are included. Direct integration into automatic build processes using Apache Ant is also possible.
PPR is a Unix print spooler expressly designed for operating PostScript printers. Its features are numerous, and it supports printers connected to parallel or serial ports, or over the network through AppleTalk, LanManager, LPD, and TCP/IP protocols. It accepts jobs from Microsoft Windows, Macintosh, and Unix clients. If the input file is not PostScript, it can pipe the input through a filter. PPR has been designed to manage large numbers of printers with minimal operator attention. It has command line and Web interfaces.
