OIO is a Web-based metadata/data management front-end which is built using Zope and works with Postgresql. No programming is required to build and manage Web-forms or to perform data mining/analysis on the collected data. It is in production at the Harbor/UCLA Medical Center for clinical outcomes management and research data. Forms created with OIO and hosted on any OIO server can be downloaded as XML files. Once downloaded from the "Forms library" and imported into an OIO server, the necessary database tables are automatically recreated and the imported forms become immediately available to the users of that OIO server.
PLplot is a library of C functions that are useful for making scientific plots from programs written in a wide variety of languages. It can be used to create standard x-y plots, semi-log plots, log-log plots, contour plots, 3D plots, shade (gray-scale and color) plots, mesh plots, bar charts, and pie charts. Multiple graphs may be placed on a single page with multiple lines in each graph. Different line styles, widths, and colors are supported. A virtually infinite number of distinct area fill patterns may be used. A variety of output devices and file formats are supported.

The picture pages include a navigation bar and a simple GUI and picture comments saved in an XML file. Date information is extracted from the pictures if available. Possible comments include 'date', 'where', 'who', and 'what'. The script is very well suited for cron operation on a hierarchy of directories using the --recursive option.
pylize is a Python script that makes the creation of on-screen presentations a matter of a few minutes. It generates a template master document, which can be edited with a text or HTML editor. The master document is then processed by pylize to generate HTML files for every slide plus a file for the table of contents. The presentation can be viewed with any CSS-capable Web browser. pylize is inspired by the Perl program PLies.
MT2 Thumbnailer (Make Thumbnails 2) is another program for generating HTML photo albums from pictures. It gives users a great deal of control over the comments shown alongside each picture, and the way the pictures are ordered and grouped. Having descriptions, reflections, quips, and quotes in a picture album makes it much more memorable and fun to write.
