album is a free HTML/XHTML photo album and gallery generator that supports themes/skins. You can choose different themes or write your own to get different layouts and styles. It creates all your thumbnails (including directory thumbnails) and descends into directories so you can organize your photos. PLplot is a library of C functions that are useful for making scientific plots from programs written in a wide variety of languages. It can be used to create standard x-y plots, semi-log plots, log-log plots, contour plots, 3D plots, shade (gray-scale and color) plots, mesh plots, bar charts, and pie charts. Multiple graphs may be placed on a single page with multiple lines in each graph. Different line styles, widths, and colors are supported. A virtually infinite number of distinct area fill patterns may be used. A variety of output devices and file formats are supported.
white_dune is a graphical VRML97/X3DV editor, simple NURBS/Superformula 3D modeller, animation tool, and VRML97/X3DV commandline compiler in development. VRML97 (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) is the ISO standard for displaying 3D data over the Web via browser plugins ("HTML for realtime 3D"). X3DV is the direct successor of VRML97. VRML97 and X3DV have support for animation, real-time interaction, and multimedia (images, movies, and sounds). white_dune can read, create, and display VRML97/X3DV files and let the user change the scenegraph/fields. It also has support for stereoscopic view via "quadbuffer"-capable stereo visuals, and support for 3D input devices like a joystick, spaceball, or magnetic tracker.
makethumbs is a Bourne shell script which creates static HTML image galleries suitable for web or CDROM presentations. It is designed for portability and depends on the fewest possible helper programs. You can simply run makethumbs in a directory of JPEGs and get a usable set of web pages. If you have the time, you can add captions, descriptions, and create a dotrc file to completely change the look and feel of the generated gallery. A small helper script, rotate.sh, is also available to easily fix rotated images.
JGraph is a free, mature, and robust Java diagramming library. It contains all the graph visualization, layout, and interaction functionality you might expect in a graph library, including multiple views, layering, zoom, drag and drop, undo, automatic expanding and collapsing, routing, and layouts. You can create workflow editors, BPMN, CAD tools, network diagrams, database visualization tools, and more. It is fully documented, including examples, and has an active support community.
There are many photo-gallery programs available. Zoph is different, as it concentrates on the management of large collection of photos instead of just showing them on the Web. It can store a lot of information about your photos, including the regular EXIF info, photographer, location, title, description, rating, and the people in the photo. Photos can appear in multiple albums and categories. Additional features include search, slideshows, lightboxes, email, access privileges, and multiple languages.
