Wiipresent is a program that lets you use a Nintendo Wiimote as a cheap and reliable wireless presentation device. The various buttons are mapped to help you navigate through your presentation. The device rumbles to indicate how much time has passed and the LEDs gives you visual feedback on how much time you have left. You can also use your Wiimote's IR and tilting capabilities to move your mouse pointer on screen. Wiipresent was designed to be an off-the-shelf tool that can be used by anyone as long as you have a bluetooth receiver.
CGG is a simple static Web photo gallery, designed to be clean and easily usable, with EXIF support. Generated pages are static HTML files with no extra requirements on the server. The gallery source is a set of XML files containing everything needed. The gallery has modern design, and pages are valid XHTML 1.0 and CSS 2. No GUI is supplied: this is a console application, allowing easy scripting (e.g. auto-refresh after new images are uploaded via FTP).
Amora (A mobile remote assistant) is an application for S60 Nokia smartphones written in Python (PyS60). It allows you to send keyboard events and mouse moving in your Linux desktop. You can control slides, movies, and any other application. Supported features include: mouse drag, double clicking, mouse left button, and some common keyboard keys (Enter, Esc, Space, F5, arrow key left/right, 'F', etc.). It can take a screenshot of the active window on your desktop and view thumbnail on the cellphone. Communication uses Bluetooth.
Twibright Twig is a static HTML photo gallery software that supports organization of JPEG and PNG images into a directory structure and EXIF and JPEG comments. It is meant for more experienced users rather than newbies. Three levels of downscaled image and three levels of thumbnails are generated. Each image is assigned a unique identifier to faciliate easy random linking from a master Web site. It handles reasonable large galleries (and is currently used for a 3GB one). Automatic regeneration of added, changed, and deleted images can be done with one script.
