SELTA@Etersoft enables programs that store data in MS SQL Server to work with PostgreSQL. It translates SQL queries from the T-SQL dialect (used in MS SQL Server) to pl/pqSQL (used by PostgreSQL). Though SELTA@Etersoft is universal, it needs improvement to support concrete applications. At the moment, the translator is oriented to the popular Russian accounting system «1С:Предприятие 7.7». If your application can store data only in MS SQL, and you want it to be compatible with PostrgreSQL, support for your application can be implemented.

Ibid is a multi-protocol, general purpose, instant messaging chat bot written in Python. It aims for a naturalistic interface rather than strict-syntax commands. Ibid understands many protocols, including IRC, Jabber/XMPP/Google Talk, Campfire, NMDC, and SILC. It also interacts over SMTP, HTTP, and various RPC protocols. Ibid aims to make plugins as easy as possible to write. It ships with a large collection of plugins for looking up information, performing conversions, storing factoids, delivering messages, and much more.
The Ex-Crawler Project is divided into three subprojects. The main part is the Ex-Crawler daemon server, a highly configurable and flexible Web crawler written in Java. It comes with its own socket server, with which you can manage the server, users, distributed grid/volunteer computing, and much more. Crawled information is stored in a database (Currently MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MSSQL are supported). The second part is a graphical (Java Swing) distributed grid/volunteer computing client, including user computer state detection, based on JADIF Project. The Web search engine is written in PHP. It comes with a Content Management System, user language detection and multi-language support, and templates using Smarty, including an application framework that is partly forked from Joomla 1.5, so that Joomla components can be adapted quickly.

It allows users to connect from PostgreSQL to any other ODBC compliant database such as Informix, Oracle, DB2, MySQL, etc. You can integrate data from remote databases into your local query results. Writing requests is fully supported. The implementation is SQL/MED compliant.
Hailo is a fast and lightweight markov engine intended to replace AI::MegaHAL. It has a Mouse (or Moose) based core with pluggable storage, tokenizer, and engine backends. It is similar to MegaHAL in functionality. The main differences (with the default backends) are better scalability, drastically less memory usage, an improved tokenizer, and tidier output. With this distribution, you can create, modify, and query Hailo brains. To use Hailo in event-driven POE applications, you can use the POE::Component::Hailo wrapper. One example is POE::Component::IRC::Plugin::Hailo, which implements an IRC chat bot.
