Synth is a C++ template framework - a set of components that can be mixed and matched to build the right functionality; furthermore, components are loosely-coupled, designed to be both extensible and replaceable. Synth blurs the line between compile-time and runtime, and it does so by blending the static C++ type system, the dynamic values that need to be manipulated and formatted, including those from other languages, and the templates to do so. The name is an allusion to this synthesis process, which combines values to generate new ones (streams, files, strings, numbers, etc.)

JSON-delta is a multi-language software suite for computing deltas between JSON-serialized data structures and applying those deltas as patches. It enables separate programs at either end of a communications channel (e.g. client and server over HTTP, or two processes talking to one another using bidirectional IPC) to manipulate a data structure while minimizing communications overhead. Robust reference implementations are available in Python and Javascript. Work is ongoing on other implementations, including Racket and Perl.

tblutils is a collection of several utilities for working with tabular text files: data written in plain text, with one row per line and columns separated by a common character (usually TAB or semicolon). It complements the usual Unix tools like cut and paste by providing enhanced versions that support column labels through-out, so that you can extract columns by name (tblcut), filter data using a mathematical expression (tblfilter), re-order columns without caring about the column index (tblcsort), join multiple files on a common index without having to pre-sort them (tblmerge), and much more.

Arandomd is a network daemon that provides statistically tested output from a single ARC4 stream cipher generator to anyone able to connect to its listening TCP port. As multiple consumers cause it to reseed itself from a separate, strong random source, it is expected to produce consistently unpredictable results for cryptographic purposes. A configurable number of tests from the Statistical Test Suite for Random and Pseudorandom Number Generators must be passed before output data is sent to the client. It may be be useful in low-entropy environments, such as compute clouds, for generating high quality key material for strong cryptography.
