Deduplicator is a simple and efficient data deduplicator that works by hard linking files that have the same content. It is ideal for reducing the size of backups. It can save and restore intermediate results, so you can run it in a few short intervals, and allows you to review changes before they are committed to disk.
File-Find-Object-Rule is a port of File-Find-Rule to make it use File-Find-Object instead of File::Find. It provides a succinct, declarative syntax for creating directory tree traversal routines while enjoying the advantages of File-Find-Object, such as traversing the tree incrementally and iteratively, and the capability of instantiating several traversers in the same program.
File-Find-Object provides Perl programmers with an object-oriented alternative to the core File::Find module for traversing a directory structure, which has some serious interface limitations. As opposed to File::Find, File-Find-Object can be instantiated, can be interrupted in the middle, has an iterative interface, and can also return results as objects.
Cyrus2Dovecot is a full-featured command line tool for converting the email messages of one or more users from the Cyrus format to Dovecot Maildir++ folders. It allows you to perform a server transition which is fully transparent to both POP and IMAP users, as virtually all available metadata is preserved during the conversion. This includes message UIDs, INTERNALDATEs, IMAP folder subscriptions, the UIDVALIDITY and UIDNEXT values for each folder, as well as all IMAP flags (including the first 26 user-defined keywords).
OpenBeacon is a open and generic design for an active wireless transceiver device hardware that operates in the 2.4GHz ISM band. The tag contains a unique serial number, but may have other information like acceleration measurement. The OpenBeacon tag is designed as a transceiver device, and therefore both transmits and receives radio waves. The intention of this project is to offer a wide range of use cases such as visitor or item tracking and wireless remote control with a free self-contained and low-cost RFID design. It enables wireless remote control application and ultra low power wireless meshing nodes.
