LibCarvPathRepository is a library that provides the low level functionality for creating and using a (single, large, growing, sparse) file as an archive of (forensic) media images and other files. LibCarvPathRepository is to be used in conjunction with CarvFS. The CarvFS "raw" module is growing archive aware, making it possible to add (forensic) media images to a mounted raw archive. The LibCarvPathRepository library provides the low level multi-process safe API for appending an entity to the growing archive. Blocks of NULL data are automatically converted to sparse content to keep down the disk usage of the archive. After the image has been added to the archive, the library provides the carvpath of the newly entered image within the archive, making it possible to hand this carvpath to other carvfs aware tools.
baresip is a bare-bones SIP user agent. It supports SIP, SDP, RTP/RTCP, and STUN/TURN/ICE, and IPv4 and IPv6, and is RFC-compliant and has portable C89 and C99 source code. A modular plugin architecture provides stdio, cons, and evdev user interfaces, celt, g711, g722, gsm, ilbc, l16, and speex audio codecs, alsa, coreaudio, gst, portaudio, oss, winwav, and mda audio drivers, speex_pp, speex_aec, speex_resamp, and sndfile audio filters, the avcodec video codec, avformat, quicktime, qtcapture, v4l, and v4l2 video sources, sdl, opengl, and x11 video display drivers, and srtp media encoding.
restund is a modular STUN/TURN server that is designed around the principle of a lightweight core and server modules that extend its functionality. Both UDP and TCP are supported, along with IPv6 and IPv4. Supported modules include STUN, TURN, MySQL database, syslog, and status monitoring.
dosbox-ipxrelay is a very simple, super-low-overhead dedicated server to support the DOSBOX version of IPX-over-UDP for old games. In particular, when left completely idle, it should consume no CPU time whatsoever. It should also have substantially better latency than the DOSBOX built-in server. It was designed and tested on Linux, and it should compile on any modern POSIX-compliant system.
Agnos is a cross-language, cross-platform, lightweight RPC framework with support for passing objects by value or by reference. Agnos is meant to allow programs written in different languages to easily interoperate, by providing the needed bindings (glue-code) and hiding all the details from the programmer. The project essentially serves the same purpose as existing technologies like SOAP, WSDL, CORBA, and others, but takes a minimalistic approach to the issue at hand. Unlike the aforementioned technologies, which tend to require integration with Web servers, using verbose XML-based protocols on top of textual transports (HTTP), often also requiring complex topologies (such as name servers for registering objects, etc.). Agnos is designed to be simple, efficient, and straightforward, allowing for direct communication between two ends using a compact binary protocol.
pgmp is a PostgreSQL extension module that adds support for the arbitrary precision data types offered by the GMP library. It provides higher performance arithmetic for numbers, only limited by the 1GB varlena maximum size, a rational data type for absolute precision storage and arithmetic, and specialized functions to deal with prime numbers, random numbers, and factorization. The GMP data types can be used in mixed arithmetic with other PostgreSQL numeric types and indexed using the btree or hash methods. The extension is compatible with PostgreSQL 8.4 and later, and the package includes comprehensive documentation and regression tests.
