BallroomDJ is a ballroom music player. It is designed to let the computer choose the music and to be able to play music the entire evening without intervention. It features flexible playlists, music queue management, requests, seeking in songs, speed with pitch control, and an optional audio file organizer. Playlists can have automatic selections based on your choice of dances and how often those dances should play, stops after some number of songs has been played, stops at a particular time, allowing of songs with certain keywords, sequences, and manual selection. Mix all of these in any order and modify them at any time.
The Freeverb3 library includes high quality freeverb, nreverb, impulse response reverb, FIR filter constructor, band splitter, and hardknee/softknee compressor. Its oversampling feature provides high quality audio processing. The compressor provides mastering quality audio processing. This library includes XMMS plugins, audacious plugins, BMP beep media player plugins, and sample programs, which enable you to test the audio effects easily. Freeverb3_vst is a VST plugin version of the freeverb3 library.
SMPlayer is a complete media player for Windows and Linux. It uses MPlayer as a playback engine, which is capable of playing most video and audio formats (AVI, mkv, WMV, MP4, MPEG, etc.). It can also play and download YouTube videos. One of the most interesting features is that it remembers the settings of all files you play. So if you start to watch a movie but have to leave, when you open that movie again it will resume at the same point you left it, and with the same settings: audio track, subtitles, volume, etc.
You are captain of the cargo ship Chromium B.S.U., responsible for delivering supplies to our troops on the front line. Your ship has a small fleet of robotic fighters which you control from the relative safety of the Chromium vessel. Chromium B.S.U. is a fast paced, arcade-style, top-scrolling shooter. It uses OpenGL for graphics, OpenAL/SDL_mixer for sound effects, GLC/FTGL for text rendering, and glpng/SDL_image for texture loading.
