The PHP Assertion Unit Framework (phpAssertUnit) is a unit testing framework based on assertions which helps PHP developers test their code. Failing assertions about the program state are tracked in a Reporter window of a DOM-compliant browser such as IE5+, Mozilla, Netscape 6+, etc. The reporting of failures or warning messages does not disturb the running script, allowing easy Web GUI testing.
PHP Command Class is a PHP class that is allows one to create a single index page that is controlled using a command and sub-command pair. The command and sub-command are stored in a database for quick lookup, and they can be used for creating menus. This class is designed to use MySQL, but any database that has an API for PHP can be used by using the correct database class to handle the queries. Full documentation and comments can be found in the code.
PHP Comment Class is a simple, reusable comments engine which utilizes the PHP Table and Form classes. Backing into a MySQL database (or any other persistent store provided by Table or Form), it provides a set of Form and Table children which, when called, generate a comments engine with input validation and stylesheet support.
This is a PHP class that attempts to validate a given e-mail address at four levels: matching the address against a RFC compliant regular expression; checking whitelists and blacklists of domains with typing mistakes, disposable email addresses, and temporary and fake domains; verifying the existence of the destination SMTP server by verifying the respective DNS MX record; and connecting to that server to see if the given address is accepted as a valid recipient. The class also features a debugging output option that lets you see the remote SMTP server connection and data exchange dialog to see the real cause why an apparently valid address may not be accepting messages.
Error Handler provides a custom interface to error handling in PHP. Several report formats can be used to reveal what circumstances led to a certain error. One for logging, one for display, and one for redirection. It captures the errors and captures (to a customized level) the context and variables surrounding the source of the error and neatly organizes them as a series of reports.
PHP HTTP protocol client is a PHP class for making HTTP requests. It can establish connections via SOCKS or proxy servers and establish secure connections (HTTPS) with optional SSL client certificates. It supports HTTP Basic, HTTP Digest, and NTLM (Windows or Samba) authentication mechanisms. It submits POST requests with user-defined form values, file uploading, or with user-defined request bodies. It handles cookies and automatic redirection handling. There is an addon class that logs in to Yahoo! and executes actions on behalf of the user, like exporting the address book or sending invitations to Yahoo! groups.
