Open Camera is a camera app for Android phones and tablets. It has the option to auto-stabilize so your pictures are perfectly level no matter what. Other features include zoom (multi-touch and single-touch), flash, focus modes, focus and metering areas, face detection, front/back camera, scene modes, color effects, white balance, exposure compensation, video recording, timer, burst mode, geotagging, configurable volume keys, and choice of save folder. The preview's aspect ratio can be set to either match the display's aspect ratio or the aspect ratio of the photo/video resolution. The UI can be optimised for left or right-handed users.
"fgallery" is a static photo gallery generator with no frills that has a stylish, minimalist look. It shows your photos, and nothing else. There is no server-side processing, only static generation. The resulting gallery can be uploaded anywhere without additional requirements and works with any modern browser.
Urban Lightscape is a photo filter for exposure correction, localized brightness adjustments, dodging and burning, and the introduction of synthetic lighting to a photo. A simple "double-click-and-drag" paradigm is used to place control points on a photo, and clever edge detection localises and interpolates lightness adjustments around and between these points. Results are rapid, with additional controls for more subtle refinements.
phpMyGPX is a Web application based on PHP, MySQL, and OpenLayers to manage photos and GPX files with a browser, on your local machine or online, to share your tracks and images. GPX is an XML file format containing track points and routes collected by GPS receivers, and is very popular with navigation, geocaching, and OpenStreetMap.
Atmoslide is a Flash application for showing photos or images on a Website. Image selection is done with a list of photos that animate 3-dimensionally like CoverFlow from Apple. The main image is shown centrally above the selection list, and can have an extra added border, and an atmosperic surrounding effect which is based on the colors of the image. To implement this, you have to supply an XML file which lists all the images and all the settings.
