Addns.pl is a self-contained DynDNS update client for DynDNS.org (and possibly others). It supports a variety of IP detection methods including external webcheck/router pages. It also supports multiple configurations and hostnames, smart abuse prevention, and custom/static/dynamic DNS, and can run as a daemon, commandline options only, or with a configuration file.
GnuDIP is a application designed to allow an ISP to publish a DNS hostname for a customer without having to assign a static IP address. Customers can maintain the address information via a CGI on the ISP's website. For those who are familiar with the dyn.ml.org part this is a simple replacement package.
mkrdns is a small Perl script that helps automate changes to your DNS zone files. It does this by reading your named.boot/named.conf file to find all the domains/networks for which you are authoritative. It then reads all of the forward zone files and generates PTR records which it inserts in the reverse zone maps.
oDns is a simple php/Perl/MySQL frontend to the BIND 8.2.1 Name Server. All the hosts information is saved in four SQL tables. The php-based Web frontend allows you to add/edit/remove domains (primary and slaves) and contact information.
