XESS is a spreadsheet for UNIX, Linux, OpenVMS, and Windows NT which supports user-configurable 3-D workbooks with up to 10 million rows, enhanced display and print formatting, international locales (including multi-byte languages), full Y2K compliance, Web enablement, and a high level of compatibility with the Excel and Lotus spreadsheet products. It includes filters for Excel 97, Excel 2000, and Lotus spreadsheets.
xv is an interactive image manipulation program for the X Window System. It can operate on images in the GIF, JPEG, TIFF, PBM, PGM, PPM, XPM, X11 bitmap, Sun Rasterfile, Targa, RLE, RGB, BMP, PCX, FITS, and PM formats on all known types of X displays. It can generate PostScript files, and if you have ghostscript (version 2.6 or above) installed on your machine, it can also display them.
Ypldapd is a Network Information Service (NIS) server which uses LDAP as its information source. Using ypldapd, existing NIS clients can transparently use LDAP to resolve user, group and host information. Enterprises can thus realize the benefits of LDAP, such as its distribution and scalability, without ugprading clients. Used in conjunction with LDAP server technologies such as Netscape's Directory Server, ypldapd can provide single sign on to both NT and UNIX clients.
The Easysoft ODBC-Oracle Driver provides ODBC access to Oracle for Linux and major Unix platforms. The driver supports Oracle 8.1.7 or higher, Oracle 9i, and Oracle 10g. It supports the latest SQL syntax and additional datatypes provided in Oracle 10g, as well as Oracle RAC and grid computing. It uses Instant Client and provides full OS authentication. It is easy to install and configure, and is compatible with unixODBC Driver Manager.
This driver adds support for E3-based USB scanners such as the Genius Vivid Pro. It is based on the original Windows source and makes use of the OneTouch 8600 scanner driver. It can support the following scanners: the Genius Vivid Pro USB, Colorado USB 19200, Visioneer OneTouch 7600, and the IBM IdeaScan 2000 USB.
