BX/XIK automates the integration of Sitraka's (formerly KL Group) Motif based XRT widgets into Builder Xcessory PRO. After installing the XRT Integration Kit, the XRT widgets will appear on the BX PRO palette and can be "dragged-and-dropped" to create a sophisticated Motif-based user interface.
ChemApp is a programming tool from the area of computational thermochemistry. It is a library consisting of a rich set of subroutines, based on the thermodynamic phase equilibrium calculation module of ChemSage. It permits the calculation of complex, multicomponent, multiphase chemical equilibria and their associated energy balances. ChemApp is available as object code for a wide range of platforms and as a shared library/DLL. ChemApp "light" is the free version of ChemApp, and although it is restricted in two ways compared to the regular version, it gives you almost the same functionality.
Code Medic provides access to the power of gdb with an intuitive front end. It currently supports opening multiple source windows at once, setting/clearing breakpoints while the program is running, watching variables change in the variable tree as you step through code (even with nested structs), text searching through source, and integration with Code Crusader to provide a rapid, efficient develop-debug cycle.
The GRASP Project has created an algorithmic-level graphical representation for software called the Control Structure Diagram (CSD). The CSD was created to improve the comprehension efficiency of Ada source code and, as a result, improve software reliability and reduce software costs. Since its creation, the CSD has been expanded and adapted to include other languages. GRASP provides the capability to generate CSD's from Ada 95, C, C++, Java, and VHDL source code in both a reverse and forward engineering mode with a level of flexibility suitable for professional application. GRASP has been integrated with the GNU family of compilers for Ada (GNAT) and C (gcc), and Sun's javac compiler for Java. Use of GRASP is not restricted to these compilers, however. This has resulted in a comprehensive graphically-based development environment for these languages. The user may view, edit, print, and compile source code as CSDs with no discernible addition to storage or computational overhead.
JX is a full-featured C++ application framework and GUI widget library for use with the X Window System. It provides support for all facets of application development, including distributed applications, and aims to combine the best of MacOS and NeXTSTEP. It is built directly on top of Xlib and has been carefully optimized for performance.
P-Synch is a commercial password management toolkit which provides automated password synchronization, password strength enforcement, password self-reset by authenticated users, and streamlined password reset by helpdesk. P-Synch is available for both internal use as well as for Internet-based deployments in B2B and B2C applications.
Dealing with the UNIX command line, especially in order to manipulate the file system, is one of the biggest hurdles to widespread use of Unix and Linux. System G was written to provide a simple way to access to the file system in the form of a graphical hierarchy of files and folders.
