The jflicks media system allows people to manage their video, audio, photos, and other media in their home. It is a "whole house DVR" for one or more home theater PCs (HTPC) on the home network. Each HTPC can access any media item on any other in the home. When needed, the system uses other software to get work done. For example, it uses mplayer and VLC to display video.
Robotics::IRobot provides a Perl interface for controlling and accessing sensor data from iRobot robots that support the OI Interface. It allows for both event-driven and polling-based reading of sensor data. It provides all functionality defined in the OI Interface for Roomba 400 series and Create robots. Also provided is some additional functionality such as primative dead reckoning and enhanced use of the Create's song functionality.
The Resource Scheduler is a Java Swing component to visually assist in resource scheduling. A resource can be anything that you want to schedule. It could be doctors at a doctors office, a shared car, or really anything else that might need scheduling. The Resource Scheduler component is not a full fledged calendar replacement and will never be.
