RSyntaxTextArea is a syntax highlighting, code folding text editor. It has support for over 30 programming languages and is completely customizable. By extending JTextComponent, it easily integrates into any Swing application and provides an easy way to add syntax highlighting to a program.
JS Diff Viewer is a library that can find and view the difference between two text strings. It takes two text strings, uses the diff algorithm to find the differences between them, and returns a list of changes to patch the original string to become the final string. The patch list shows which characters are added or removed to change one string into the other. The difference between the text strings may be computed in three modes: by character, by word or by line. The object can also format the strings to view them as HTML, showing which characters are added and removed with special insertion and deleted styles. The example page works as a tool to interactively view the changes as the user changes the texts before and after the changes are applied.
Blender is a free 3D animation studio. It includes tools for modeling, sculpting, texturing (painting, node-based shader materials, or UV mapped), UV mapping, rigging and constraints, weight painting, particle systems, simulation (fluids, physics, and soft body dynamics and an external crowd simulator), rendering, node-based compositing, and non linear video editing, as well as an integrated game engine for real-time interactive 3D, and game creation and playback with cross-platform compatibility.
Caché Monitor is an SQL development tool for InterSystems database Caché. It features an advanced SQL query editor with SQL syntax highlighting, SQL code completion with context sensitive information about database objects (also known as Intellisense), an SQL history buffer for executed SQL commands, SQL code formatting, parallel queries, graphical SQL execution plan with index and selectivity information from every used index in the plan, SQL abbreviations, and much more.
Thinknowlogy is grammar-based software, designed to utilize the Natural Laws of Intelligence in grammar, in order to create intelligence through natural language in software. This is demonstrated by programming in natural language, reasoning in natural language and drawing conclusions (more detailed than scientific solutions), making assumptions (with self-adjusting level of uncertainty), asking questions (about gaps in the knowledge), and detecting conflicts in the knowledge. It builds semantics autonomously (with no vocabularies or words lists), detecting some cases of semantic ambiguity. It is multi-grammar, proving that Natural Laws of Intelligence are universal.
The Expense Submittal System (ESS) is a Web-based solution for the creation of expense reports, expense report approval, payment, and accounting. The complete expense reporting process is covered. ESS provides report entry, approval routing, corporate policy checking, credit card statement importation, and report payment.
The MOEA Framework is a Java library for developing and experimenting with multiobjective evolutionary algorithms (MOEAs) and other general-purpose optimization algorithms and metaheuristics. A number of algorithms are provided out-of-the-box, including NSGA-II, ε-MOEA, GDE3, and MOEA/D.
FidoCadJ is a very easy-to-use editor, with a library of electrical symbols and footprints (through hole and SMD). Drawings can be exported in several graphic formats (PDF, EPS, PGF for LaTeX, SVG, PNG, and JPEG). Although very simple and not relying on any netlist concept, FidoCadJ can be considered a basic electronic design automation program. FidoCadJ uses a file format containing only UTF-8 text, which is very compact and suited for copying and pasting with newsgroups and forum messages. This determined its success, as it is quite versatile for simple mechanical drawings as well as for electronics.
