JamochaMUD offers Unicode, plug-in, and multi-language support (8 different languages) to allow a more enjoyable MUCKing/MUDding experience. It features command history, synchronized window controls, experimental SOCKS 5 support, and greatly improved ANSI colour support. It plays nice on Unix systems, supports a wide range of MU*s, and also includes emulation of some TinyFugue editor controls. JamochaMUD includes classes that may be easily reused in other Java applications.
Linguaphile is a simple command line language translator. It is open source, platform independent, and programmed in Perl. Linguaphile currently supports the following languages: Afrikaans, Alawa, Albanian, Arrernte, Basque, Belarusian, Bulgarian, Catalan, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Esperanto, Estonian, Finnish, French, Galician, German, Greek, Hawaiian, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Interlingua, Irish, Italian, Kala Lagaw Ya, Korean, Kriol, Latvian, Lithuanian, Malay, Maltese, Maori, Norwegian, Pitjantjatjara, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Samoan, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swahili, Swedish, Thai, Tok Pisin, Turkish, Ukrainian, Warlpiri, and Welsh. The Spanish to English translation is the most useful at this stage.
Config::Natural is a Perl module that can read generic configuration files with a simple but very flexible syntax. It has very few constraints on the data, and has support for multi-line values and nested lists. Its object oriented API is compatible with modules like CGI or HTML::Template, and it can be safely associated with the latter.
Gallery is a slick Web-based photo album written using PHP. It is easy to install, includes a config wizard, and provides users with the ability to create and maintain their own albums in the album collection via an intuitive Web interface. Photo management includes automatic thumbnail creation, image resizing, rotation, ordering, captioning and more. Albums can have read, write, and caption permissions per individual authenticated user for an additional level of privacy.
See-Commerce is a completely modular solution for e-commerce. See-Commerce is entirely written in PHP and based on MySQL. It is simple for beginners, and very complete for advanced developers. See-Commerce supports value-added taxes, special price lists, discounts, transport fees, and a very comfortable Windows-based client from which you can browse all your e-commerce databases, orders, clients, etc. See-Commerce is currently only available in Italian.
Lucid Fried Eggs is a web-based notetaking and collaboration application. It is similar in nature to TheBrain, Wiki, Everything2, ZigZag, and Xanadu. Notes are associated to each other with relationships: parent, child, jump. One note can have many parents. This makes it quite different from strictly hierarchical applications. Additionally, references are reciprocal. This means if you make a jump to another note, you can always get back.
