Cosmiqum is small and fast CMF that is aimed to make any site quickly. Almost all of its functionality is implemented through plugins. Any plugin can register a filter for a specific event and any plugin can be a filter, which is useful for plugins that need to process another plugin's data. Every action in the core is logged and any plugin can log any of its actions. PHP errors are not displayed to the user, but the developer can get them from a specific array. Different configurations can be used for different hosts.
Secure PHP HTML parser and filter is a PHP package that can be used to parse and filter out insecure HTML tags and CSS styles. It comes with a general purpose markup parser class that can parse any type of markup documents similar to HTML, XML, and DTD files. It also includes several other classes that can be chained together to retrieve the document token elements returned by the main markup parser class and filter the document elements in a useful way. The markup validator filter class validates a document against a DTD, eventually removing invalid tags and attributes. The safe HTML filter class uses several white lists to process HTML tags and data returned by the markup validator class and discards potentially harmful HTML tags and CSS that could be used to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) or cross-site request forgery (CSRF) security attacks. The filtered HTML tokens can be reassembled to return a well-formed and secure HTML document. The HTML links filter class can extract the links contained in an HTML document. The DTD parser and CSS parser are utility classes used by the other classes.

Basic Broadcaster (bb) allows you to transfer text messages simply from one computer to another on a LAN. The messages are broadcast in the LAN and and can be received by each machine running bb. No setup is required other than starting the application. The messages are transmitted as plain text, and no encryption is done. The broadcasts can only be sent to machines on the same subnet as the sending machine, and will not be forwarded by routers to the Internet.
Crypt::IDA is a Perl module that implements Rabin's Information Dispersal Algorithm. This is what's known as a "threshold system": a secret is divided into n shares with the property that any k (the "quorum" or "threshold") of those shares (with k <= n) can be combined at a later time to reconstruct the secret. The algorithm should be cryptographically secure in the sense that if fewer shares than the quorum k are presented, no information about the secret is revealed. The module uses Math::FastGF2 to efficiently implement the algorithm, making it suitable for securely sharing and distributing even large files. The Crypt::IDA::ShareFile module implements a file format for creating, storing, and distributing shares created with Crypt::IDA.
