uftpd is a small, no nonsense FTP server with no confusing configuration files and security features you don't need. It serves files from /srv/ftp on port 21 by default and just works.
Release Notes: This bugfix release fixes a zombie problem and an ordering problem with dropped privs, and adds a strict inactivity timer (20 seconds).
libpfrng is a userspace library which provides a high-quality but slow random number generator based on CPU timing jitter. It passes Diehard, FIPS, NIST, and entropy tests, and is high-rated by CAcert RNG test.
Release Notes: Fast RNG functions have been fixed to be thread-safe. Minor build scripts cleanup has been made.
GNU ddrescue is a data recovery tool. It copies data from one file or block device (hard disk, CD-ROM, etc.) to another, trying to rescue the good parts first in case of read errors. GNU ddrescuelog is a tool that manipulates ddrescue logfiles, shows logfile contents, converts logfiles to/from other formats, compares logfiles, tests rescue status, and can delete a logfile if the rescue is done.
Release Notes: The option "-K, --skip-size" has been extended to accept a maximum skip size and to disable skipping. Speed has been improved when using complex domains with the option '-m, --domain-logfile'. Speed of logic operations in ddrescuelog has been improved. Timestamps have been added to rescue, rates, and reads logfiles. A status message describing the operation being performed and the current direction has been added to the rescue logfile. A single tab character is now used as field separator in the reads logfile to reduce its size.
Recoll is a personal full text desktop search tool based on Xapian. It provides an easy to use, feature-rich, easy administration interface with a Qt-based GUI. Text, HTML, PDF, PostScript, MS Word, OpenOffice, Wordperfect, KWord, Abiword, maildir, and mailbox mail folder formats are supported, along with their compressed versions and quite a few others. Powerful query facilities are provided. Multiple character sets are supported, and internal processing and storage uses Unicode UTF-8. Stemming is performed at query time and the stemming language can be switched after indexing.
Release Notes: This version fixes the rare but annoying crashes of the multi-threaded indexer.
Veusz is a scientific plotting package, designed to create publication-ready Postscript, PDF, or SVG output. It features an easy to use graphical interface as well as a command line interface and can be scripted or embedded in Python scripts. Graphs are constructed in a modular fashion from separate components. Datasets can be interactively modified or created from within the program.
Release Notes: Veusz now includes a second HDF5-based document format for large datasets. Several plotting features have been added, including a filled curve error bar style, filling to the left or right of data points, a master colour setting for plotting data, and rotation/reflection for vector fields. The contour line labelling code is much improved, rotating contour labels to the correct angle and not overlapping them. Rotated axis tick labels can also be placed closer together. The release includes several user interface improvements and a large number of bugfixes.
List My Apps scans your Android device to compile a list of apps, which can then be shared with your friends. Format options include plain text, HTML list, BBCode list, and Markdown list (for Reddit). All lists can conveniently link back to Google Play.
Release Notes: Images are now lazy-loaded to reduce startup time. The app no longer crashes with an out of memory exception if hundreds of other apps are installed.
Monitorix is a lightweight system monitoring tool designed to monitor as many services and system resources as possible. It has been created to be used under production Linux/UNIX servers, but due to its simplicity and small size may also be used on embedded devices as well.
Release Notes: This is a maintenance release that mainly fixes a pair of bugs. The first one was already announced and it included a work-around. The second one affected the Email Reports graph, which was sending emails with no graphs. The Changes file was updated with the rest of the changes and bugfixes.
BugHotel Reservation System is a hotel booking and accounting software package which uses the Internet to "network" your corporate office to each of your hotels. All data processing occurs at the Application Service Provider (ASP) data center. Income statements, reports, etc. may be customized.

Release Notes: It is now possible to configure the output image format to 24 bpp RGB and to control the DPI resolution when rendering project data to TIFF files. Reading specific Gantt chart view data for MS Project 2010 and 2013 formats is now supported. There were several other enhancements and bugfixes.
Clonezilla is a partition or disk cloning tool similar to Symantec Ghost. It saves and restores only blocks in use on the hard drive if the file system is supported. For unsupported file systems, dd is used instead. It has been used to clone a 5 GB system to 40 clients in about 10 minutes.
Release Notes: The underlying GNU/Linux operating system was upgraded. This release is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2014/May/05). The Linux kernel was updated to version 3.14.2-1, drbl to 2.8.23-drbl1, and clonezilla to 3.10.8-drbl1. A bug where 1-2-mdisks failed to reinstall grub due to ocs-restore-mbr not honoring the temp $ocsroot variable was fixed. Restoring an LVM partition no longer prevents any following non-LVM partitions from being restored.
Ant is a Java based build tool, similar to make, but with better support for the cross platform issues involved with developing Java applications. Ant is the build tool of choice for all Java projects at Apache and many other Open Source Java projects.
Release Notes: This version added many bugfixes and improvements, including initial support for Java 1.9, the ability to run JUnit tests in multiple threads (when they are forked), and a refactoring of Ant's own test suite, which is now based on JUnit 4.
Nag is a Web-based application built upon the Horde Application Framework that provides a simple, clean interface for managing online task lists (i.e. TODO lists). It includes strong integration with the other Horde applications and offers shared task lists.

Google Map GPS Cell Phone Tracker allows you to track Android, iOS, Windows Phone, and Java ME cellphones using Google Maps. It has two parts, a server and phone clients. You have a choice of two servers, using asp.net and SQL server or PHP and MySQL. The server software allows you to view cellphone locations in realtime using Google Maps and store routes and view them later. The client applications send their locations to the website periodically. All four applications work properly in the background and are written natively on each platform.
Release Notes: The Android app is now on Google Play. This release features a nice simplified UI using only one button.
Roosevelt is a Web framework for Node.js which uses Teddy for HTML templating, LESS for CSS preprocessing, and Closure Compiler for JS minification by default. It is designed to be configurable so you can supply your own templating system, CSS preprocessor, or JS minifier if you like. Built on Express, Roosevelt is designed to abstract all the crusty boilerplate necessary to build a typical Express app, sets sane defaults with mechanisms for override, and provides a uniform MVC structure for your app.
Release Notes: This release added support for Express 4.x and for other templating systems and CSS preprocessors. Params were overhauled for greater ease of use. Default error pages now use mainDomain instead of appName. Client-side JS minification was added through the Google Closure Compiler. A new feature which makes a symlink in node_modules to your mvc/models directory was added. Point-and-click executables were added. There were also CLI tool improvements, better Windows compatibility, and various bugfixes.
xine is a free multimedia player. It plays back CDs, DVDs, and VCDs. It also decodes multimedia files like AVI, MOV, WMV, and MP3 from local disk drives, and displays multimedia streamed over the Internet. It interprets many of the most common multimedia formats available--and some of the most uncommon formats, too. All those features come in a reusable library (xine-lib) which can easily be embedded in your applications.
Release Notes: Support for HEVC/H.265 was added. BD-J (Blu Ray Java) support with ARGB overlay was added for capable video drivers. A new avformat demuxer plugin was implemented, bringing support for various new formats and protocols, including proper RTSP support. The QuickTime demuxer was modernized. 'mbank-cli' provides a rudimentary command line interface to the mBank online banking system.
Release Notes: mbank-cli now uses IO::Socket::SSL (rather than Net::SSL aka Crypt::SSLeay) as the SSL/TLS backend. mbank-cli no longer trusts any certificate authorities, except for VeriSign Class 3 Public Primary Certification Authority.
BASH history suggest box is a command line utility which brings improved BASH command completion from the history. It aims to make completion easier to use and more efficient than Ctrl-r.
Release Notes: This release brings regexp based filtering of command history. In addition, it's possible to use hh in non-interactive mode (i.e., filtered output is written on standard output). openSUSE became a newly-supported distribution.
