CGILua is a tool for developing dynamic HTML pages and manipulating input data from forms. It uses the interpreted language Lua for codifying its scripts. It has been on the road for almost 8 years now, being used in many Web products and sites. It is extensible through Lua libraries and dynamic loading of C/C++ libraries. Scripts can be written as Lua programs or HTML templates (HTML with Lua code embedded). Scripts are platform-independent.
Jigsaw is W3C's leading-edge Web server platform, providing a sample HTTP 1.1 implementation based on RFC2616 and a variety of other features on top of an advanced architecture implemented in Java. Jigsaw provides both client and server HTTP/1.1 implementations, is fast, easy to extend, flexible, and is also packaged as a ready-to-run HTTP/1.1 proxy-cache.
Pmw is a toolkit for building high-level compound widgets in Python using the Tkinter module. It consists of a set of base classes and a library of flexible and extensible megawidgets built on this foundation. These megawidgets include notebooks, comboboxes, selection widgets, paned widgets, scrolled widgets and dialog windows.
PXP is a validating XML parser for the programming language Objective Caml. It strictly implements the full XML-1.0 standard. The XML instance is represented as a tree of objects. It is also possible to access the DTD. PXP means "Polymorphic XML parser" and emphasizes its most useful property: that the API is polymorphic and can be configured such that different classes are used to store different types of elements. PXP contains a user's manual and several example, and has been designed with CGI programming in mind, however is not limited to this field.
A series is a data structure much like a sequence, with similar kinds of operations. The difference is that in many situations, operations on series may be composed functionally and yet execute iteratively, without the need to construct intermediate series values explicitly. In this manner, series provide both the clarity of a functional programming style and the efficiency of an iterative programming style. Series is the culmination of many years of design and use of this approach, during which some 100,000 lines of application code have been written (by about half a dozen people over the course of seven years) using the series facility in nearly all iteration situations. This includes one large system (KBEmacs) of over 40,000 lines of code. In a nutshell: Think "Efficient MAPCAR". SERIES translates functional-style expressions into efficient loops.
Xcyr-fonts is a package of Cyrillic screen fonts for X, suitable for Belorussian, Bulgarian, Macedonian, Russian (new and old orthography), Serbian, Ukrainian languages. They are encoded using a new map KOI8-C that coincides with the standard KOI8-(R,U) in the letters area but adds more Cyrillic letters (all of ISO8859-5 plus Yat', Fita, Izhitsa) and some typographic symbols (mostly from CP-1251). The font set is a fully compatible superset of the standard XFree86 Russian Cyrillic fonts, with numerous changes to improve quality.
ZooLib allows one to write a single set of C++ sources which can be compiled into native executables for Mac OS, Windows, BeOS, or POSIX-compliant systems that use the X Window system (such as Linux). Zoolib provides a GUI toolkit with a uniquely flexible layout system. It also provides a single-file database format, TCP networking, and extensive debugging support. ZooLib applications are multithreaded. ZooLib requires only minimal support from the underlying OS and platform GUI layer, and thus could be ported to a completely new platform without too much difficulty. ZooLib is fully production quality on Windows and MacOS, completely implemented but untested on BeOS, and not yet complete on POSIX. Please note that the sources from the "demo" branch are also required to build ZooLib or to get started writing your own ZooLib applications.
