MultiSeti is a utility for the Seti@Home client which helps you manage multiple SETI packets. If you have dial-up access to the Net, want to download more than one packet, and don't want to run clients simultaneously, MultiSeti will run one after another (when one is finished analyzing, it starts seti to analyze the next packet).
OIO is a Web-based metadata/data management front-end which is built using Zope and works with Postgresql. No programming is required to build and manage Web-forms or to perform data mining/analysis on the collected data. It is in production at the Harbor/UCLA Medical Center for clinical outcomes management and research data. Forms created with OIO and hosted on any OIO server can be downloaded as XML files. Once downloaded from the "Forms library" and imported into an OIO server, the necessary database tables are automatically recreated and the imported forms become immediately available to the users of that OIO server.
The GNotary client is a multi-platform GUI client that allows you to select files via drag and drop from any file manager, create the secure hash sums for each file, and submit the hash list to a list of digital notary servers. myBeasties is a highly flexible evolutionary programming module. It is designed to be extendable and customisable for maximum use by the Perl developer. DigitizeIt digitizes scanned graphs and charts. Graphs can be loaded in nearly all common image formats (including gif, tiff, jpeg, bmp, png, psd, pcx, xbm, xpm, tga, pct), pasted from the clipboard, or imported via a screenshot. Digitizing of line and scatter plots occurs automatically, and manual digitizing via mouse clicks is also possible. Data values are transformed to a specified axes system and can be saved in ASCII format, ready to use in many other applications such as Microcal Origin or Excel. Axes can be linear, logarithmic, or reciprocal scale. Multiple data sets can be defined and edited. Tilted and distorted graphs can be handled. Comprehensive online help is included. Java 1.4 is required.
