album is a free HTML/XHTML photo album and gallery generator that supports themes/skins. You can choose different themes or write your own to get different layouts and styles. It creates all your thumbnails (including directory thumbnails) and descends into directories so you can organize your photos. Dead Link Check (DLC) is a Perl script designed to find information on validity of HTTP references. The script may use/generate a cache file for avoiding redoing network requests if the user wants to check added entries. The script works by reading entries from a file (or a list of links from the command line) and output results in file(s) (or STDOUT). DLC was created as an extension to Public Bookmark Generator (PBM), but can be used on its own.

dolt is a cross platform HTML preprocessor, which replaces specially formatted HTML comments with the contents of another file. It works much the same way as SSI, but without the server requirements, as files are processed before they are uploaded to a Web server. For example, it allows you to update a menu on every page by changing one file. This gives you some of the benefits of frames without any of the problems.
