The Whole Platform is a technology for engineering the production of software. It provides an Eclipse-based Language Workbench for developing new languages, manipulating them using domain notations, and transforming them using a generative model driven approach. The languages bundled with the Whole Platform include: modeling languages; query and transformation languages; integration languages for grammars, XSD, RDB, and Java libraries; and popular languages such as Java and XML.
MathGL is a library for making high-quality scientific graphics under Linux and Windows, fast data plotting and handling of large data arrays, working in window and console modes, and easily embedding into other programs. It has more than 40 general types of graphics for 1d, 2d, and 3d data arrays. It can export graphics to raster and vector (EPS or SVG) formats. It has an OpenGL interface and can be used from console programs. It has functions for data handling and MGL language scripting for simplification of data plotting. It has several types of transparency and smoothed lightning, vector fonts and TeX-like formula drawing, an arbitrary curvilinear coordinate system, and many other useful things.
Multi-OTP is a PHP class that can be used to authenticate and manage OTP user tokens for strong two-factor authentication. It can create, update, and delete tokens to authenticate users with one time passwords (OTP). The users' data are stored in files. The class can also check the user token using several algorithms: Mobile OTP (MOTP), OATH/HOTP (RFC 4226), and OATH/TOTP HOTP Time Based (RFC 4226 extension). It works with compatible software tokens (iPhone, Android, PalmOS, Nokia, and other Java J2ME capable phones) and hardware tokens (such as Feitian, ZyXEL, Authenex, or Seamoon). The multiotp command line utility is also provided, both in "compiled" form (for Windows) and in source code (for Linux or educational purpose). The multiotp command line can be combined with FreeRADIUS (under Linux) or the free TekRADIUS LT (under Windows) in order to have a powerful radius strong authentication server.
LogicalDOC is a Web-based document management system that is easy to use and learn. Its architecture leverages best-of-breed Java technology to achieve a powerful and flexible solution. It supports its users with a powerful search engine (Lucene), Web service interface (JAX-WS via CXF) compatible with .NET and PHP, versioning, annotation on documents, a WebDAV interface, importing and exporting from .zip files. Documents can be organized into hierarchical folders, searched using the integrated search engine, or browsed by Tag. The system is extensible thanks to the technologies used (Spring-Hibernate) and its plugin architecture.
eXist is a native XML database featuring efficient, index-based XQuery processing. It provides a complete ecosystem for building applications entirely based on XML, XQuery, and related standards. The high-performance XML database engine stores textual or binary data and documents without requiring a database schema. Using XML across all layers makes mapping technologies superfluous and increases productivity. A browser-based IDE and a standardized application packaging system help developers get started quickly.
The MOEA Framework is a Java library for developing and experimenting with multiobjective evolutionary algorithms (MOEAs) and other general-purpose optimization algorithms and metaheuristics. A number of algorithms are provided out-of-the-box, including NSGA-II, ε-MOEA, GDE3, and MOEA/D.
cclib is a Python library for parsing and interpreting the results of computational chemistry packages. It currently parses output files from ADF, GAMESS (US), GAMESS-UK, Gaussian, Jaguar, and PC GAMESS. Among other data, cclib extracts coordinates, atomic orbital information, molecular orbital information, information on vibrational modes, and the results of a TD-DFT calculation. cclib also provides some calculation methods for interpreting some electronic properties of molecules using analyses such as Mulliken population analysis, overlap population analysis, and calculation of Mayer's bond orders.
