Asciidia generates bitmap or vector files from simple ASCII diagrams. It was inspired by ditaa but has a plugin based architecture, which allows it to draw specialized diagrams. Currently-supported diagram types are simple ASCII diagrams and directory trees. Asciidia can directly output SVG and MVG. For additional file formats, an ImageMagick installation is required.
MediaManager is an application and API that can be used to retrieve TV show and movie metadata from Internet sources. This information is then stored locally, and can be used to rename media files with the correct title. It's written in Java, and should run on any platform with a JRE >= 1.6.
Task Coach is a simple todo manager to manage personal tasks and todo lists. It grew out of a frustration that well-known task managers, such as those provided with Outlook or Lotus Notes, do not provide facilities for composite tasks. Often, tasks and other things to do consist of several activities. Task Coach is designed to deal with composite tasks.
PHP Server Monitor is a script that checks whether the servers/Websites on your list are running. Each server has its own notification settings. Notifications are made via email or text messages. Using the Web-based interface, you can add servers and manage users for each server.
Urd is a Web-based Usenet binary download manager. It stores the newsgroup information in a MySQL database and aggregates the articles into sets of a single download (e.g. one album or movie). The Web interface can be used to search with regular expressions. It uses its own downloading daemon that has support for scheduling downloads and updating databases. URD can also download directly from NZB files and even create NZB files. Further features include custom scripts, multiple languages, a template based Web interface, support for multiple servers, automatic par2 and unrar support, and an intuitive user interface.
FísicaLab is an educational application to solve physics problems. The problems are set up by adding elements from the palette to a chalkboard and entering the data for each element. The elements are objects such as blocks, pulleys, motors, and forces. It can use the SI and English unit systems, scientific notation, and many conversion factors. The types of problems that can be solved are kinematics of particles (including circular motion), static analysis of particles and rigid bodies in 2D, dynamic analysis of particles in 2D (excluding the dynamics of circular motion), heat, calorimetry, ideal gas, and expansion. The static and dynamic problems are entered by constructing the free body diagrams of the objects.
