Template Data Interface (TDI, /ʹtedɪ/) is a markup templating system written in Python with (optional but recommended) speedup code written in C. Unlike most templating systems, TDI does not invent its own language to provide functionality. Instead, you simply mark the nodes you want to manipulate within the template document. The template is parsed, and the marked nodes are presented to your Python code, where they can be modified in any way you want.
psArchive is a PHP 5 extension designed to provide an easy to use interface for manipulating all the most common archive files used in Web projects at high speeds and workloads. It is especially designed for Web applications that need to understand, to produce, or even edit archives in order to function.
SPL is a powerful scripting language. It features hashes, regular expressions, objects, exceptions, a built-in template language, and has a C-style syntax. It can be used stand-alone or embedded in other applications. The entire SPL toolchain (compiler, assembler, virtual machine, etc.) is pretty small (about 100k on x86 architectures). One of the more advanced VM features is the capability to dump the entire VM state to a file and resume later. It even is possible to resume on another machine with a different architecture.
CAILogin is an image-based user verification program for Web page logins. It has no special dependencies, so it's suitable for embedded systems which lack "big" interpreted languages, such as PHP, Python, or Perl. It features a command line interface, which allows it to be very seamlessly integrated into shell scripts. It works by generating images of random numbers, on which it applies several obscuration filters. The end result is an image from which it is very difficult to extract the displayed number with current AI technologies.
phpass is a portable password hashing framework for use in PHP applications. The preferred (most secure) hashing method supported by phpass is the OpenBSD-style bcrypt (known in PHP as CRYPT_BLOWFISH), with a fallback to BSDI-style extended DES-based hashes (known in PHP as CRYPT_EXT_DES), and a last resort fallback to an MD5-based variable iteration count password hashing method implemented in phpass itself.
libtholoura is a text-image distortion library, which is useful for sites that want to ensure that a human (and not a bot) is viewing pages. It is optimized to produce images of strings distorted in a way that makes it impossible for an OCR to read, but humans can. The library takes a string (preferably ASCII) string and is able to dynamically produce PNG indexed images. The distortion filters are external plugins.
Sharedance is a high-performance server that centralizes ephemeral key/data pairs on remote hosts, without the overhead and the complexity of an SQL database. It was mainly designed to share caches and sessions between load- balanced PHP Web servers. Access to a Sharedance server is trivial through a simple PHP API and it is compatible with the expectations of PHP 4 and PHP 5 session handlers with no code change.
