AgileSites is a framework for Oracle WebCenter Sites (formerly Fatwire) designed to be easy to use and productive. It allows agile development practices and makes development with distributed teams (offshore) possible, trackable, and healthy. It is compatible with standard coding practices so Java developers will feel at home. It uses only documented APIs to keep support and compatibility between Fatwire/Sites versions.
BGPHist is a tool that receives MP-BGP updates, decodes them, and writes them to a database for logging and monitoring purposes. It supports not only Internet routes, but also IPv4 VPN, IPV6 VPN, and L2VPN. It sounds text output, MySQL databases, and Oracle databases. For the MySQL backend, there is also a simple PHP frontend. It could be used to monitor and log an ISP's customer activity for Internet and VPNs, as a passive BGP looking glass, or as a backend for some external monitoring and accounting system.
The YB.ORM library aims to simplify writing C++ code that has to deal with SQL databases. The goal is to provide a convenient interface like SQLAlchemy (Python) or Hibernate (Java). The library itself is cross-platform and supports a variety of SQL dialects: SQLite3, MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, and Firebird. Integration with Boost, Qt4, and wxWidgets is built-in. In a typical usage scenario, you would describe your database schema and table relationships in a simple XML-based format, generate SQL code to populate database schema with tables, generate C++ classes, add application-specific logic to the classes, and use these classes in cooperation with the Session object to query objects from the database, create new or modify/delete existing objects, or link and unlink objects using relations. Simple serialization to XML is supported along with connection pooling.
websqlclient (WSQLC or wiskl) is a lightweight HTTP server which allows an end user to access JDBC data sources via automatically-generated data entry screens. It is designed to be used with standard Web browsers and wireless tablet PCs, and is highly configurable. It can connect to any JDBC data source. Its main purpose is to provide rapid data-model-driven development. The websqlclient data entry forms are generated by querying the database system table information, but can be configured manually. websqlclient includes a database-agnostic data loading utility (SQLLoader), a data unloading tool (SQLExport), and SQL scripting capabilities.
Oracletool is an interactive, Web-based application for Oracle Database administration. The advantage of Oracletool over non-Web-based tools is that nothing needs to be installed on the client-side machine or in your databases. All you need to use Oracletool, once installed, is a Web browser.
SymmetricDS Pro is software for data replication, change data capture, and data transformation in a heterogeneous enterprise environment. Performance and scalability allow it to replicate thousands of databases asynchronously in near real time. With flexible configuration and powerful scripting and programming interfaces, it can be extended to meet a range of requirements. Based on the popular open source version of SymmetricDS, the Pro edition enhances the experience with a click-through installer, Web management console, and production support.
SAP has three different types of tables: Pooled tables, direct tables, and clusters. Pooled tables pool together several smaller lists and lookups into one table. The format of the pooled tables is basically Cobol Record structure. SAP Pooled Table Viewer uses the SAP data dictionary to create Oracle views that allow easy querying of the SAP data. This makes it easier to integrate with SAP systems where you can use database connectivity and bypass the need for ABAP.
Point-in-time recovery of an Oracle DB entails the use of transaction log files. The set of such logs grows over the lifetime of a DB, and their management often requires that they be copied to remote locations and/or backed up to offline storage. Alv can verify a set of archive logs prior to its use in a DB recovery scenario: checks are made on file size and type, and the checksum of each redo record is verified. The output is a sequence of log file numbers and character codes to indicate status and highlight any gaps in the sequence (which would stall a recovery). Environment variables can be set to allow for custom log file name formats and to check the DBNAME associated with each log.
ERDesignerNG is a Java-based entity relationship design and database modeling tool. It has a powerful WYSIWYG interface for physical database design, supports 2D and 3D database modeling, browsing, and design, handles tables, relations, indexes, and comments, supports a central repository for all models (Model Repository), supports subject areas, supports domains, supports MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQLServer, PostgreSQL, and H2, creates the SQL DDL statements for schema creation, has an integrated schema version control system, can generate schema migration scripts for every change, stores the database definition as XML files for further processing, can export the database schema as GIF, BMP, JPEG, or SVG files, has an integrated reverse engineering module for existing schemas, has a build in schema compare feature, can generate schema documentation as PDF, HTML, RTF, and other formats, and supports schema conversion between different dialects.
