QuickSwitch lets you switch network profiles on the fly (IP address, DNS, routes, NFS shares, etc.). There is a command-line configuration mode by which you can change your entire network setting in one line (including DNS and routing table). It is highly configurable, supports DHCP/BOOTP/NIS/NFS/etc., and also includes a curses-based GUI which you can use as a profile selector on startup.

LooperNG is an intelligent event routing daemon. Primarily used for Network Management, this application can be used to accomplish a variety of tasks related to logging and alerting such as trap forwarding/exploding, event enrichment, converting event formats (syslog->SNMP, SNMP->flatfile, syslog->Netcool), etc. It uses a system of input and output modules to interface with the event sources/sinks and a "rules file" to control the flow of the events.
Papillon is a security module designed for the Solaris Operating Environment. It provides security mechanisms and protections that improve the overall security of the system by adding new functionality to the kernel such as a restricted proc, chroot environment protections, secure STDIO file descriptors, restricted symlinks in /tmp, setuid protections, and more. In the current version Papillon supports Solaris (8, 9, and 10) and OpenSolaris running on x86 and SPARC architectures in 32- or 64-bit mode.
Get Patches is a small Perl tool for the retrieval of Solaris patches (IA and SPARC). A rather ugly shell script for applying the downloaded patches is included since you might not always want to apply the patches automatically. Get Patches requires the Sun patchdiag tool and Perl (including the LWP module).

The generated application installers have a native look-and-feel and no external dependencies, and can be run in GUI, text, and unattended modes. SimMon is a cross platform monitoring tool which runs on almost any OS that supports the Java Virtual Machine 1.4+. Monitoring is done through the execution of existing monitoring scripts (Perl/VBS) or existing shell commands. Currently monitoring scripts are available for Solaris, Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows based systems. Network devices can be monitored via the integrated SNMPv1 scheduler.
