Curie is a very minimalistic, tiny C library. It supports basic I/O, basic networking, S-expression based I/O, signal handling, process handling, and I/O multiplexing. If the target architecture is explicitly supported, statically linked binaries may be as small as 4-20 kilobytes; if not, then it only relies on the host's C library. The library explicitly does not provide a POSIX interface so that it may be used in conjunction with a regular host libc (or without one).

DIASER is a cloud storage class combined geo-data replication, long-term archive system, and WAN vault application. Manage long term mixed data archives generated by existing backup software. Ensure availability using commodity hardware. Retain administrative and financial control. It combines a disk-based backup volume management system and triple redundancy with a storage architecture designed to structure months to years of long term sustainable archiving space. It is a quick and low-cost way to make an environment more robust by backing up data in multiple places. This replication also provides fast retrieval of archived data from all node hosting locations. A Perl installer creates the system. Nodes can be dedicated to storage or used for existing services over unused bandwidth. DIASER works in user space over SSH.

OSSP uuid is an API for ISO C, ISO C++, Perl and PHP and a corresponding CLI for the generation of DCE 1.1, ISO/IEC 11578:1996, and RFC4122 compliant Universally Unique Identifiers (UUIDs). It supports DCE 1.1 variant UUIDs of version 1 (time and node based), version 3 (name based, MD5), version 4 (random number based), and version 5 (name based, SHA-1). UUIDs are 128-bit numbers that are intended to have a high likelihood of uniqueness over space and time and are computationally difficult to guess. They are globally unique identifiers that can be locally generated without contacting a global registration authority.

OSSP cfg is a ISO-C library for parsing arbitrary C/C++-style configuration files. A configuration is sequence of directives, each directive consists of zero or more tokens, and each token can be either a string or again a complete sequence. This means the configuration syntax has a recursive structure and allows you to create configurations with arbitrarily-nested sections. The configuration syntax also provides complex single/double/balanced quoting of tokens, hexadecimal/octal/decimal character encodings, character escaping, C/C++ and shell-style comments, etc. The library API allows importing of a configuration text into an Abstract Syntax Tree (AST), traversing the AST, and optionally exporting the AST again as a configuration text.

btfs can be used as /init for constructing a run-time environment before running the real init. It supports extracting compressed (*.cgz, *.cbz2) and uncompressed (*.co) cpios located on a compile-defined directory (/). Also, it creates a tmpfs filesystem as the new root, if / isn't one already and the purpose of the initramfs isn't for starting a system in another location (disk, network, etc.). That will allow for the data on / to be swapped to disk when swap devices are activated later.
