The Yoke driver provides transparant mirroring between disk partitions and other block devices (such as loop and nbd). It differs from the kernel RAID0 facility in that it is a virtual device with no interface of its own. To start mirroring one device to another requires no prior setup, just "yadd /dev/yd0 yet_another_device" and go. The yet_another_device will become another facet of the existing mirror and you can still read and write to it perfectly normally, with the difference that all changes will be seen and reflected in/from all the other mirror facets.
The Cap Processor Usage patch (or CPU patch for short) is a modification to the Linux kernel that allows you to limit the amount of CPU power any given task can get. Unlike the ulimit command, it does not limit total time a task can run. Instead it limits the percentage of the CPU's time that the task can get. It also differs from the nice command, as it does not change the priority of the task.
Statsnet is a small set of scripts that will generate graphical statistics for a specific device. The statistics contain among other things, transmitted/received packets as well as bytes. In addition, it shows amount of currently tracked connections in the conntrack engine of netfilter.
Linux device driver for CueCat barcode readers that supports multiple PS/2 CueCats on either the keyboard port, mouse port (without disabling the mouse) or USB port through a PS/2 -> USB adapter, or native USB CueCats. A standalone application that doesn't require the driver and also reads barcodes from a CueCat connected to a serial port through a homemade PS/2 -> serial converter is included as well. The driver separates CueCat barcode scancodes from normal keyboard or mouse scancodes, decode the barcodes, performs error-checking on them and send them in clear text through a normal character device file. NOTE : the company that created the CueCat has disappeared. CueCat readers are no longer produced or distributed.
Alpaca is a multitasking operating system for Z-80 based arcade hardware. It has been designed to run on both Pac-Man and Pengo based arcade machines, but can easily be ported to other machines with similar architectures. It supports four concurrently running processes, task switching, simple inter-process messaging, semaphores, and a basic window-based graphical interface.
