The 64 Studio Platform Development Kit (PDK) is a version control system for GNU/Linux distributions, allowing the creation and management of many different projects, based on Debian and Ubuntu sources. PDK is written in Python, and the source code is well commented and contains documented examples.

Delivering these kernel packages over a Debian-style repository ensures that future updates and patches can be automatically downloaded to your EeePC as they're released. Current support is available for Ubuntu v8.04 (Hardy Heron) on the EeePC 700, 900, 900A, 901, 1000, and 1000H models.

The Logic File System enables the user to access files through an additionnal mountpoint, /lfs, where powerful logic queries can be issued and navigation can be done through different dimensions, like date, size, or extension. For instance, LFS allows the user to perform the following commands in the shell: "cd /lfs/ext:mp3|ext:ogg/year:1973/genre:Disco/" and "ls artist:BeeGees/ artist:DonnaSummer/ artist:Chic/".
SCST is a mid-level SCSI target subsystem for Linux. This subsystem allows a remote host to access local storage devices through the SCSI protocol. SCST supports multiple network storage protocols, including iSCSI, SRP, and FCoE, and also supports Qlogic 22xx/23xx SCSI HBAs.
