FAUmachine is a virtual machine that emulates a PC. It runs as a normal user process (no root privileges or kernel modules needed) on top of Linux on i386 hardware. Ports to OpenBSD and Windows are in progress. An out-of-the-box Linux distribution can be installed onto this virtual hardware, using the installation program that comes with it. Binaries compiled for i386 hardware architecture will also run on FAUmachine. FAUmachine supports networking and FAUmachines can be connected transparently to the local network to which their host machine is attached. If the appropriate servers are running on the FAUmachine, login from any real machine is possible, once the network is set up.
Fiked is a fake IKE daemon that supports just enough of the standards and Cisco extensions to attack commonly found insecure Cisco PSK+XAUTH VPN setups in what could be described as a semi-MitM attack. Basically, knowing the pre-shared key, also known as shared secret or group password, the VPN gateway can be impersonated in IKE phase 1, in order to learn XAUTH user credentials in phase 2. The configuration supported by fiked is IKE aggressive mode using pre-shared keys and XAUTH. Supported algorithms are DES, 3DES, AES128, AES192, AES256, MD5, SHA1, and DH groups 1, 2, and 5. Main mode is not supported.
Firewall Builder for PIX hides the complexity of PIX command line interface and automatically configures options and parameters that usually make manual configuration a real chore. With this module, the same workstation running Firewall Builder can create and manage security policy on Cisco PIX or FWSM firewalls, as well as on firewalls built with iptables, OpenBSD pf, or ipfilter.
Flight Navigation Planner lets you make flight plans based on known airports, navaids, fixes, or cities. You can use the sectional charts, wacs, or the vector/terrain planning charts. It calculates headings, winds, time, and fuel. It features Airways-based Auto-Routing, Climb and Descent calculations (a/c type based), Fuel Stop Planning, Auto-Route around MOAS and Restricted Airspace, Hi-Res Weather Radar Overlay, Viewing of current sectional, wac, and IFR charts, the ability to see a route over TFRs, detailed nexrad radar overlays over your routes, Terrain Profiles with cloud ceilings, and the ability to upload flight plans to GPS.
Fossil is a distributed software configuration management/version control system built with reliability and ease of use on mind. It comes with integrated bug tracking and a wiki. It is distributed as a single static binary for easy installation and the ability to run in a chrooted environment. Other highlights include a Web interface, autosync, simple networking, and CGI support.
