This patch integrates SecurID authentication services directly into the OpenSSH daemon, allowing users to use SecurID tokens directly as their passwords instead of relying on the clunky sdshell. It rides on the plain password auth architecture in OpenSSH to avoid requiring ChallengeResponse or securid-1@ssh.com style auth. It supports full privilege separation.

It supports the HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, FTP via SSL, and Gopher protocols, as well as HTTP GET, and POST requests. It is capable of filling HTML forms while downloading HTML trees, and lets you mirror Web documents for local browsing. You can even synchronize changes to these documents. Recent versions also support processing of Javascript patterns in HTML pages. Pavuk have JavaScript bindings that allow writing of own scripts to perform special tasks.

Perdition is a fully featured POP3 and IMAP4 proxy server. It is able to handle both SSL and non-SSL connections and redirect users to a real-server based on a database lookup. Perdition supports modular based database access. The distribution ships with modules for ODBC, MySQL, PostgreSQL, GDBM, POSIX Regular Expression, and NIS. The API for modules is open, allowing abitary modules to be written to allow access to any data store. Perdition can be used to create large mail systems where an end-user's mailbox may be stored on one of several hosts, to integrate different mail systems together, to migrate between different email infrastructures, and to bridge plain-text, SSL, and TLS services. It can also be used as part of a firewall.
